Aimed at children 9-12, this is also informative for adults, though its publication in early 90s means the section on current affairs is out of date; also information like 'Bukhara, now in the Russian Federation' when it's now in Uzbekistan. Chapters include the economy, lifestyle, religion and history as well as a 'tour of Iran' plus there's a great selection of photos throughout for the armchair traveler
