4.0 out of 5 stars Valuable

I purchased this book some time ago expecting an informative and exciting account of one of the most fascinating periods in modern Iranian history. As I found out, this book is very poorly written, VERY boring and lacks any real value in my judgement. Furthermore, Matin-Asgari does an immense disservice to his readers by neglecting to provide any significant historical background to the period he is discussing. I would most definitely NOT recommend this book.
