5.0 out of 5 stars A must have., April 9, 2002
This review is from: Irfan (Le Heros) (Audio CD)
In a world with Johnny Hallyday, Jean Jacques Goldman, Celine Dion and all the other francophone musicians who get way too much publicity, Les Ogres de Barback stand out. This album is tighter than their first one (which is still good), and the vocals, guitar, horn, and accordion playing really make it a pleasure to listen to. If you're into chanson and you're reading this review you should buy this album right now.

In a world with Johnny Hallyday, Jean Jacques Goldman, Celine Dion and countless other francophone musicians who receive far too much publicity, Les Ogres de Barback stand out as a fantastic band--too bad they're so little known in their native country. This album is tighter than their first one (which is still good), and the impassioned vocals, as well as guitar-, horn-, and accordian playing really make it a pleaure to listen to. You need this album if you like chanson francaise, or really good singer/songwriter stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Further in happiness !, June 14, 2000
This review is from: Irfan (Le Heros) (Audio CD)
Logically following "Rue du Temps", this album is even more accomplished in musics and texts, even if the aware listener can recognize some rebuilted tunes. This album is a must of this new french music lead by Tetes Raides. Pure joy !
