This review is from: Irish Chain Quilts: Single, Double and Triple (Dover Quilting) (Paperback)
The book was very informative about the art of irish quilt making. Each step was very well documented. However i would have liked to see color pictures.

This review is from: Irish Chain Quilts: Single, Double and Triple (Dover Quilting) (Paperback)
Once you get past the black and white line drawings, the information about Irish Chains is solid and easy to understand. This book explains the differences between the three types and simplifies their construction. Not much money for a book discussing this very specific type of quilt piecing. It is humorous to find that the author prefers to mark the cloth and cut with scissors instead of rotary cut. None the less, directions were easily modified to my preferred method.
