Breath-taking Scenery - But then, it's Ireland!
(...) you get a unique, close-up look at many of Ireland's spectacular stately homes - places where you can stay on your next trip, if you can afford it! We've personally visited Glin Castle which is on the banks of the River Shannon and it is glorious - especially the gardens; all of the vegetables served at the castle's sumptuous dinners are picked right there...

poor viewing quality
This VHS, was faded and blury, the pictures were not crisp and sharp, i liked the content, but was disapointed in picture quality

While the homes are the anchor of the programs, there's much more than architecture to experence; you'll see Ireland's incomparable landscapes, hear her compelling music and watch craftsmen ply their trades. And you'll witness the change of seasons, from spring through winter. The concept is unique and we would have given it 5 stars except that we didn't care for the nasal quality of the announcer. (...)
