I was looking forward to some great reading and fun ideas for quality crafts and stories, but what I received I almost threw away with all the fliers that Amazon sends with your order. This "book" looks like it was typed on an old typewriter, photocopied and stapled together.

I skimmed through it and then managed to read through about half of it before it disappeared. (I'm guessing it got mixed-up with other papers that were taken to the recycling center) From what I did read this "book" had very little that was new to me. I give it 2 stars only because the writer was faithful to the customs without the usual hyped-up, romantic-type ideas that tend to fill up books of this genre.

I suppose if this item has a drastic price drop, people interested in the culturally based customs of Samhain would enjoy the read, but don't have high expectations. Similar material can be found on the web with a wee bit of time (to sort through the fluff.)
