This book covers the history, various forms, and supplementary equipement used (even down to the pampoodies -- goatskin boots worn). It is the absolute best book I have found on currachs. The back of the book includes plans for many different types of currachs. Anyone interested in currach history, currach building, or Irish culture would greatly benefit from this gem.
