This is a great album from some of the very best traditional Irish musicians. Every tune is exciting and well done and you can feel the joy and fun the musicians are having at the session. If you're in the Evanston, IL area, stop by Tommy Nevin's on a Sunday and you can hear some of these very same people live for yourself (John Williams runs the weekly session). It is a real treat.

Live performances bring out something special in musicians and this recording captures that excitement. Filled full of Irish humor and flair. My favorite cuts are Liz Carroll's sets; she's the most intense, grounded, passionate fiddler around.
