I recently purchased Irish Homecoming and was blown away by the powerful voices that came together to make this recording. Candy Hemphill Christmas performed a particularly moving interpretation of her father's song, "The Only Real Peace", while Connie Hopper took center stage as her family sang "Go Ask". Connie's mellow, pure voice brought warmth and powerful testimony to the music. The best part of the entire album for me, however, was the Gaither song, "This Could Be the Dawning of That Day". The tempo changes and David Phelps' soaring vocals will guarantee to give you shivers. Don't miss this one!
