My husband works road construction and he's been wearing these boots for the past three years (one pair a year). He loves them! He say's you can't beat them for the money spent. He has bought more expensive boots but they don't feel as comfortable or hold up as well in the kind of work he does. Why pay a lot more when you don't get the comfort and wear from them. Well worth the money.

I bought these boots for a trip to the Black Rock Desert to hunt Chuckar in the surrounding mountain ranges. I needed a boot that could handle the rough terrain, terrific bird. These boots were warm, dry, and dependable after numerous water crossings, climbing up and down mile upon mile of lava rock laden mountain sides. Tough boots, also very stable with 12 inches of ankle support. These are by far the best boots I have ever worn, and if other reviews are accurate; should last me a good long time to come. A note to the Seller: I don't know how you managed the price, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Great Deal, Great Boot.

I Love my new boots. Previously owned a pair for the past three years wearing them everyday until I wore holes through the leather on top. I figured they would no longer be water proof, went fishing and they still held out the water. Bought a new pair and they are awesome!!!!!!

These are your father's boots. These boots are leather, heavy, and well-made. I hunted in the boots for a week in Montana, with temps getting down to negative 5 and snow blowing horizontally, and never once did my feet get wet or cold! True, as stated earlier, these are heavy boots, and by the end of the day I felt it, but what do expect from this much leather and well-constructed sole. I beat the living daylights out of these boots and by the end they still had the soft, oiled feel to the leather. These boots are going to last, let me tell you. As a word of caution, however, it seems these boots run a tad small. You may want to order a size larger than you normally wear.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention, while hunting I had other hunters inquire about these boots...these boots are lookers!

I own two pairs of these boots. I use one pair for hunting and the other for work in the winter. They keep your feet warm even when you aren't doing much moving around but you don't feel like your feet are burning up if you are working or even indoors and the waterproofing works great.

I had to send the first pair back, having never owned a pair of Irish Setter shoes, the first pair was a little small, so I would say they run a half size small compared to my Allen Edmund's. That said once the size was right the shoes are GREAT! Comfy and warm, look great and are built very WELL!!

Timely shipping. The boots were a Christmas gift for my son and he just loved them. The boots replaced a pair we bought him that were the same make and model three years ago. A little hard to find but Amazon had them in stock and cheaper than anyone else.
