I ride ATVs alot, lots of mud and fairly deep water. These boots work like a champ. They feel like I'm wearing tennis shoes, very light weight. They've yet to leak on me and I've put them through hell. I originally ordered the LaCross boots similar to these but they were too narrow. I do not regret buying these boots. I've had these a little over a year now. I would recomend long socks if not wearing your pants tucked in to your boots.

My feet are very flat, with no arch, very wide, and I have bunions. You can imagine how difficult it is for me to find footwear that fits, and is comfortable.

After reading another review about these boots, I was convinced to pay the higher price compared to the cheaper brands that were similar in appearance, due to the wide width. To say the least, it was a wise decision.

I bought size 11, as I normally wear, and they fit great. From the moment I slipped these boots on, I could not believe how perfect the fit was for my horrible feet. The width is perfect, the arch/footbed is perfect, the tightness around the leg and ankle is perfect. The materials inside are soft and comfortable (I wear thin, technical socks)

Aside from the fit, the materials and construction are fantastic, as well. The sole pattern and material offer good traction and support. The outer boot material itself is strong, sturdy, and does the job of keeping the water out. The "flex" material around the back of the boot which is supposed to aid in putting on and taking off the boots seemed to help a little, and also added a bit of flex when walking on uneven terrain. There are some extra pieces of rubber material attached to some areas of the outside of the boot which adds stiffness and support to the structure. That is a really nice touch, and I also felt like it added some protection from vines, roots, and other things that you might snag your foot on.

The inside of the boot is very comfortable; I did not find any spots that poked my feet and did not have any pressure points or tightness anywhere. Sometimes in cheaper shoes I have had pieces of plastic, nylon, stiff thread, and edges of materials stabbing my feet. There was no such thing in these excellent boots.

I live in Girdwood Alaska. Girdwood is at the top of a temperate rain forest. Hiking in the snow or rain, these boots are perfect. They are made well for hiking and will contour to your foot as much as a waterproof, slip-on boot can. I have very long, narrow feet and they fit me with a little bit of room. I'm not sure how well they would work if you had wide feet. They can sometimes be a challenge to get on and off but that is also why they fit so well for hiking. I really like how tall they are for the deep snow or the streams. They also have pretty good gripping power for ice or wet rocks. I was also surprised at how light and quiet they are. A real bonus for hiking and/or hunting.

Fits really good vvery comfortable. All hunters should have these. The rubber smell is a little hard to get rid of.

These are the greatest waterproof hunting boots out of the box. Too bad they weren't so good in the long run, even the short run for that matter. I consider myself an avid outdoorsman and rubber boots are ensential gear out here in Western Alaska! After about a month the outsole started coming apart by my right pinky toe. First is was a little leak then it turned hellish. Darn boots put me through a rough couple of days out here. Once i got back I ordered the Lacrosse Alpha Burly's which are a little more snug around my forefoot, but I'll take that over wet feet in these cold conditions; they're still leak proof after a couple of years. I love Irish Setter Boots, just dislike the rubber boots with a passion.

P.S. A friend of mine had the same experience with the same brand so idk...maybe these boots weren't made for Alaska.
P.S.S. Had some bad experiences with bogs also, not as wet...but, wet is wet when conditions are harsh.

Everything about these boots seemed perfect. They fitted perfect and the ExoFlex technology is the best i have seen in a hunting boot. Walked for hours in these boots rough shooting in IRELAND, very very comfortable.
BUT after only a few wears both buckles on the calf straps fell off and were lost. However the most disappointing thing considering the cost of these boots was they split at the crease across my toe from the flexing after 6 months. I have repaired several times with glue, but does not last long. I am giving up on these boots and purchasing another brand today. This is a very poor quality product from Irish Setter. I do own other Irish Setter footwear and have no issue with it in fact they are excellent products. I cant believe Irish Setter did any robustness testing on this product. Do not pay the premium price for a poor quality product. I have never left a review on Amazon for a product before , but could not let this on go.

I really didn't see myself buying a pair of rubber boots to hunt. In the past they always seemed unsupporting for the ankles. Well I am pleasantly surprised how good these boots are; they have great traction and are as firm around the ankles as a tie up boot. I have been waring them small game hunting as well as bow hunting. They are holding up very well and I can take them off standing up. They are a very good boot.
