My wife is the Irish one in the household but Irish Spring is my soap of choice for the simple reason that it is one of the few hand soaps I have found that does not irritate my sensitive hands. I do not exactly remember how I stumbled upon this happy fact, but ever since I discovered this to be the case I have stuck with Irish Spring. When I go out of town on trips even I take along a bar of so I do not have to deal with whatever strange generic soaps I might encounter in a hotel room. The scent is nice enough, the color is different from most soaps, and the bar is shaped in such a way that it is easier to hold on to in the shower. It is also readily available in bulk packages and I like the touch o' class that it is one of the few soaps that still comes in boxes rather than individually wrapped. I can not speak to the idea of being "waterfall clean," but as long as hands are happy the rest of my is content as well.

Don't know if this is what Irish smells like in the spring but it does smell good. Helps wake you up in the morning after waking up. It didn't dry out my skin any and the wife liked it just as well.

I love this brand i don't know whay they took it off the market. But i recently found a place in my neighborhood that caries it. So i bought every single bar in stock. I'm keeping most for me but i'm willing to sell a few packs online i.e. on Craigslist or ebay to the higest bidders.

i am very disappointed with the service as i ordered it many days ago but i still did not get it i will never purchase any thing from anazon.com and i recomend to every one never to purchase any thing as after this order i placed one more order and they are telling me that they will ship on 17 of FEB which is 1 more month from hte order placed so i am really sorry to say that FROM NOW I WONT PURCHASE ANY ITEMS FROM AMAZON.COM AS THEY TAKE MONTHS TO DELIVER. IF YOU SEND MY PRODUCT WITHIN A WEEK THEN I WILL THINK ABOUT PURCHASING MORE THINGS FROM YOU GUYS.

Must be the Highland cattle. Seriously, there is nothing about this soap that really makes me feel Irish or makes me think of shamrocks or pots 'o' gold, but I do like the smell of Irish Spring. It's perfume is mild enough that it is not overhwelming and doesn't induce sinus infections from those who are sensitive to artificial smells - but it definitely makes you smell clean and leaves no film or residue on your skin.

This soap is great. I love this soap. It feels good against a body, I'll tell you that. And I'll also tell you that it's gentle. The kind of gentle that says: "I know you have saddle-rash from that horse yesterday, but I can smooth that out." Whatta soap. You can't find that kind of quality in stores.
No, soap is best when bought online, and with the least amount of human contact possible. So don't go to the stores, you shut-ins, place an order for a bar of these babies, and shudder at the thought of meeting a stranger...

this soap works a wonder on the pits. it makes you have the destinct scent of ireland, but a little soap can get rid of that. good soap

I bought a bar of this soap, and unwrapped it and placed it in the shower. The next morning, I got up and went in the bathroom to shower, and the bar of soap was on the floor on the other side of the room! I was in a hurry so I didn't think to much of it at the time. I just picked up the soap and took a shower. Of course, when I was done, I left the soap in the shower.

The next day, I got up to shower again, and the soap was on the floor again, all the way on the other side of the room!

After that, I decided to get rid of it. Until I see something in the news that explains how a bar of soap can move by itself, I'll never by this soap again.
