5.0 out of 5 stars Sinn Fein's part in creating Peace, July 28, 2000
By
Lesley (Baile Atha Cliath) - See all my reviews
This review is from: An Irish Voice (Paperback)
I have read several of Gerry Adam's books. This one is particularly good for someone who wishes to really understand the politics between Ireland and Britain. It gives a first hand account of the effort that Sinn Fein has put into finding peace. It clearly demonstrates how each time the british government gets what they ask for, they create another stumbling block. The reader can easily see that without Sinn Fein's initial efforts there would be no hope for peace. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
