A great smorgasboard of all things Irish, including a history of the isle. I read this before going to Ireland in '96 and it was a great primer, giving me a taste of Irish mythology to Irish recipies.

My grandfather gave me this book before he passed away, it truly describes all things Irish including some of Ireland's very interesting history. This is a must read for anyone interested in Irish customs, traditions, or just about anything Irish!
