I bought this wok despite the reviews. There was a blemish in the interior wok, that appeared like a crack but didn't go all the way through. I imagine that there was not enough metal in the mold when it was cast and then most of that flaw was ground out as a normal step in finishing the wok. I can see how such a blemish, if more severe could result in a crack. I am hoping that the blemish will not get worse with use. I have heard that some of these new light weight cast iron woks can crack if cold water is added to a hot wok in cleaning. It certainly seems stronger than the tradition thin round bottomed cast iron wok I own.

The wok split the first time it was used. Piece of trash. Weighed down the garbage bag well, however.

This item started rusting after first use. I seasoned pan as recommended & it continues to rust. Food sticks even if pan is oiled. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I feel like I flushed gopod money down the drain.

I have received this Wok three times. Every time I found a big crack dson the Wok.This wok is very fragile. The Customer service is quite good. Replaced without any delay. But the last time, I have to return it as I don't have any patient on this terrible item.

We needed a new wok and this one has generally good reviews on Amazon. It's a nice looking product; substantial although maybe a bit heavy. It has an insulated long handle balanced by a small, uninsulated handle on the opposite side of the pan. The smaller handle gets quite hot and could burn the cook or cause the cook to drop the pan. For the money it seems the handle could have been insulated to avoid the risk.
