4.0 out of 5 stars Detailed anatomy only for a few kinds of breaks, conditioning, November 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Iron Hand Of The Dragon’s Touch: Secrets Of Breaking Power (Paperback)
The book gives a detailed anatomy explanation, but it only discusses a few kinds of breaks. No speed breaks are dicussed. Focusses on only one way to condition striking surfaces. Fair, worth it for the anatomy lessons allone, with focus on avoiding common errors. How to avoid certain nerves and wrong points of contact for sidekick.

1.0 out of 5 stars buy it used!, February 25, 2009

This review is from: Iron Hand Of The Dragon’s Touch: Secrets Of Breaking Power (Paperback)
This book is very basic. You will get the information on correct positioning of the hand and foot within a few days of attending a martial arts school. Same with the conditioning. He doesn't mention dit da jao at all, if he was really a 'kung fu master' he would at least mentioned it. Instead he talks about putting salt on your skin?!? Don't waste your money!!!!

This review is from: Iron Hand Of The Dragon’s Touch: Secrets Of Breaking Power (Paperback)
This book was wonderful, full of knowledge and education. This book was very educational for both adults and children and able to be understood by both.
It shows proper techniques and common misunderstanding to the art of breaking.

A must have for anyone that does or plans to do breaking!!!
