Okay, so it's kind of a huge understatement to label this as "a bit tricky" to put on. It's a freakin nightmare! It's literally a complete guess and check to see if you've properly lined up the apple cutout on the sticker with your macbook's logo. I had to unpeel and reapply this thing lord knows how many times. The sticker has a cloth-like protective fabric on top of it that peels off after you have applied the sticker. This fabric also covers the hole in the sticker that lets the logo be seen. I ended up cutting out this fabric at the hole in the sticker so I could properly see the very edge of the sticker hole to line up with the edge of my logo (it sounds weird and it is). Luckily this somewhat helped me to get a reference and I lined up the sticker as best as I could. Even after this, while the "apple" part of the logo is properly shown and bordered, the "little leaf" on top did not properly get bordered by the sticker; it's off by a few mm. Hey, it's not too noticeable.

The manufacturer needs to come up with some sort of reference markings on this sticker to help you out. Or, they need to have no cloth fabric covering the hole in the sticker for the apple logo. The cloth isn't see through enough and prevents you from properly lining up the hole. Anyways, I did my best to try and put into words my problems with applying this, but the sticker itself looks very cool! The horizontal light beam around the apple logo makes it look like Tony's about to fire a repulsor blast!

P.S. This sticker is perfectly sized to fit down to the very bottom edge of a 13" macbook air (the newer model).

The reviews are completely true. Terrible print quality and the Apple cutout isn't correct. Also extremely difficult to get lined up to any degree.

Contrary to other reviews, this product was no more difficult to put on then would be expected for any other decal requiring precise placement, so the difficulty in application is not a fault of the Iron Man sticker, but simply a reality for this type of product. I found that if done VERY carefully, the decal does in fact correctly line up with the apple logo.

I must agree that the quality of the graphics leave room for want--more resembling an at-home printout than a professional quality. Though I was disappointed in the graphic quality, the overall effect of the sticker does look cool. My little brother (jr high) loves it, and his friends all comment on it.

I would recommend this product, but just be aware that the graphics are not crisp.
