From Library Journal
The mystique that fuels people's passion for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle defies definition, but contributing elements include pride, tradition, brotherhood, machismo, and patriotism. Carmona attempts to capture that essence for the uninitiated by recording the views of 98 diverse enthusiasts on the reasons for riding and owning a Harley. While the book manages to convey some of the spirit of this unique machine, the substantial amount of space devoted to photos of each rider and cycle relegates it to the coffee-table category. This is purely recreational with little substance, and libraries sensing an audience for this title should balance that against the cost.
