This review is from: The Iron Tower (Keepers of the Maser) (Hardcover)
This offers all the best of Heavy Metal's comic style: high-quality artwork, low-quality characters, some amount of female undress, and a plot that lacks explanation. Regarding that last point - well, maybe it's not all that bad, since this is a middle chapter of a longer story. Anything the authors do to establish the characters and events happened in earlier books; anything to resolve plot elements comes after this. It was never meant to stand by itself.Although very well done, I recommend that the reader do something I did not have opportunity to do: start at the beginning. - wiredweird |
