I researched a lot of elipticals prior to purchasing this particular one. This eliptical is awesome, no other words can describe it. I love it. It took about an hour to assemble, with the help of my boyfriend. What I loved about the assembly process was how simple it was. Rather than sending a seperate bag full of loose nuts, bolts, and washers, it came with a bag with three tools for assemble and a bag with 4 screws. The rest of the nuts, bolts and washers were shipped in the holes they were to be placed in for assembly. What this meant was we were not trying to determine which bolt went where, we already knew. It took a tad longer because you had to undo each one and then put the two pieces together and rescrew them, but trust me, I will take that over the annoyance of not knowing what goes where anyday!! The computer screen is deceivingly simple. It looks like it provides little if no information, when in fact it has everything you could want. The pre set programs are wonderful, all the same you would find on a high priced machine. I consider myself to be in decent carido shape and this machine is giving me a real run for my money!! Over and above all of that, the absolute best part about this machine is it's noise factor, which is a ZERO. I live on the second floor of an apartment complex and have no problem working out at 6 am. I have no fear of waking anyone up (as opposed to a treadmill) because the machine is comepletely silent. I LOVE IT. I can't wait to use it everyday. It is sturdy, silent and a great workout. Who could ask for anything more???

I did a little research, read the reviews, and took a shot. I gotta tell you, I like this machine for the money I spent.
Pros- Quiet, Small footprint, built in fan, 15 level resistance, longer stride, and strength. ( yeah, i weigh about 250 trying to get to 220)
Cons- Big handles, heart rate monitor doesn't work too well, plastic foot pedals kind of chincy.
Overall, this machine will get your heart going and seems to hold up to my weight well. The things that were important to me- noise, motion, and resistance, it does really well with.

My husband and I thought this was a great machine until the wheels fell apart and we are being told over and over that the replacements are on the way next day they say one week meanwhile a month later they are saying its out of stock!!! We should get in the next month & 1/2. Wow this machine's wheels are sooo bad that they ran out of stock - I can only assume others have had similar problems. By the way neither my husband or I are over the weight limit.

Got my 530E yesterday. It took my fiancé and I about 1 hour to put it together. The screws were already in the place they should have been, making it easy to put together. I think manufacture should take notes. It is totally gym quality and I would highly recommend. Only negative was the delivery. This thing is HEAVY! Weighing close to 200 pounds. Delivery truck dropped it off in our driveway. Thank god we have a hand truck. Once we got it in the house, we opened the box and brought the parts upstairs 1 by 1 making it alot easier.

I love the elliptical trainer, and use it 5-6 times weekly. My husband weighs 50 # more than me, and he's equally comfortable on it.

My only adjustment was to zip-tie a light plastic tray under the handpieces to allow a space to hold tissues & eyeglasses.

My only complaint is that the console is not adjustable, so it's too far away for me to read my magazine while using it. I wish the magazine rack pieces were adjustable (move closer together). I have to hold my reading material in one hand and hang on with the other if I want to read while I exercise.

But all in all, I'm very glad I purchased it!

I love the Ironman elliptical. Easy to put together & overall its a quiet machine. I did a lot of research on elliptical machines and I am extremely satisified with my decision.

they product if reliable, does not make noise and its cause to what you can get in the gym for the money you pay. I have had this product for 2yrs now and just got around to comment on it, I love it, but if you need any replacement now you can not get them... so if you do buy this product keep in mind its cheap but you will not be able to get any replacment parts. But beside that I think its a great machine have not found one as good as this one for the price it begin sold for. and if you do find a way to get parts please let me know or post the site, nothing is wrong with my but you never know in the future

This elliptical machine is great, with a smooth ride and quality workmanship. It squeaks a little, but is fairly quiet in comparison to other home exercise machines I have owned. I love it, and it is well worth the price on Amazon! It took an afternoon for my husband to put it together, but it was worth the effort. The assembly was fairly straight-forward. We had originally planned on putting it upstairs, but it would take a two or three very strong men to get the flywheel upstairs. Whew! So now it is downstairs in our office instead.
