5.0 out of 5 stars extreme cold conditions, December 15, 2005

This glove is a must for professionals in the cold climates. In the past two weeks I have worked in conditions to twenty below zero. I need my fingers for handling small jobs such as setting doors and installing lock sets. As a contractor you don't always get to pick your jobs in warmer temps. or ideal conditions. I found the glove to stay flexible in sub zero temps. Although my finger tips on the very end of the gloves needed attention from time to time, I never had a glove that performed like this one. I found that even if the glove had gotten wet from the snow or the freezing rain, it still felt dry on the inside.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great General Work Gloves, February 25, 2006
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have been looking for gloves that fit like a second skin for landscape work; these work great; very lightweight; and I like they are reflective when it starts getting dark; I do go through a pair a season(spring/summer) though - so I own a few pairs, but they are worth it; My hands are protected, the gloves breath, no blisters, and they stand out if you set them down and can't remember where you put them! lol

5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Snowboarding, February 15, 2011

Never write reviews but I felt like these gloves deserved one. If you are looking for a pair of light gloves with essentially the dexterity of not wearing gloves then buy these. They are about 1/3 of the price of park gloves and from what my friends tell me warmer than them. I recently testing these bad boys out around 0 degrees F and they held up ok. I wouldn't get any colder than that. But form temps of 20 F and above these gloves do the trick.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tough Gloves though a bit pricey, January 19, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ironclad Cold Condition Gloves CCO-04-L, Large, Reflective Orange (Tools & Home Improvement)
I took a chance on these gloves, ive gone through several similar pairs that just didnt hold up to tough work and wear. The price almost made me not buy them but i gotta have warm hands to do my job efficiently and it was definitely worth the expense. I work in -10F temperatures all day and my hands are always getting wet and handling frozen material. The gloves themselves arent rated for that low of a temperature but that hasnt stopped them from taking it on and excelling in such low and wet conditions. they are a great fit, comfortable and have a good grip. I would tell anyone who buys these however to make sure your hands are dry and fully warmed up before you go handling anything too cold or exposing yourself to low temps as that defeats the whole purpose of these gloves. If you foloow that advice your hands will retain their warmth and even create some inside the gloves and make for a really toasty time. these are some really good gloves i will get me another pair once mine wear out so far its been about 2 weeks and theyre holding up quite nice. ive had pairs that didnt last nearly as long. another thing i wanna add is that these gloves do not stink, a lot of these types of gloves retain too much moisture and arent waterproof but these gloves are not only extremely waterproof but after wearing them 8-10 hrs straight doing heavy work they have not made my hands smell bad or let any outside moisture inside.
