Pros:
-"Duraclad palm" material is very wear resistant
-Excellent grip

Cons:
-Very uncomfortable
-The synthetic leather parts of the palm wear out easily
-Rubber impact protectors are more of a nuisance that a utility
-Gloves seem much bigger than their size

Conclusion:
These gloves are so uncomfortable that they pretty much defeat the purpose of wearing gloves in the first place. The tips of the fingers really need to be padded because the seams almost cut into you. The finger padding also digs into your skin if you use your fingers much at all.
This is the third pair of Iron Clad gloves I've purchased and the Medium sizes all fit me well except this glove, which feels more like a large than a medium. The only saving grace is that the "Duraclad" padding is very wear resistant and has one of the better grips of a glove I have used. Of course, the parts of the glove that have synthetic leather exposed easily get torn up so the glove ultimately has little utility.

4.0 out of 5 stars Glove Of My Life, April 16, 2011
Not quite but they are some very nice gloves. I found them to be a comfort when wearing them in cold weather. The Ironclad Super Duty gloves were used primarily with tearing down drywall and they did a very good job of holding up.

The greatest benefit of these gloves is the warmth factor. Other gloves may be more sturdy, but these definitely were superior when it came to all around warmness. They really were ideal when using them during New England winter.
However, they are not waterproof, so they do not last long when shoveling a driveway.

I only had these gloves for a month before they were stolen from me so I cannot comment on their durability. The short amount of time it took for them to disappear from my work bag is credit to their appeal

These gloves are to be highly praised for yard work and for cold weather climates. They are largely all purpose, excluding work places in which they will be saturated.

A little extra comfort in difficult work terrain. I hold them in the highest regard.

5.0 out of 5 stars A good glove, November 19, 2010

These gloves work as advertised. I use these for all outdoor and construction work. I did notice that since I've started using these with my walk behind leaf blower, my arms no longer go numb. My only problem is with trying to grab small things. But that's to be expected.

I just bought my third pair of ironclad super duty gloves. I use them 6 days a week 8 hours a day... I volunteer at a habitat for humanity store and these really come in handy. Were always carrying different building materials like kitchen cabinets, rugs, carpets, refrigerators, stoves, heavy sharp pieces of granite etc..These gloves really give you confidence in your hands....I just love them.!! In my experience, they last about 6-8 months of HEAVY USE. After that they start to rip between the fingers, and the velcro rips from the glove.

I LOVE THESE GLOVES....!! o yeah.... YOU CAN WASH THESE GLOVES IN THE WASHING MACHINE...!! (they get kinda stink after a couple of days of heavy sweaty use)

The only thing about these gloves that I don't like is that you can't really get them in stores. Almost always you have to buy them online.

OVERALL... I give them a 4.5 out of 5....

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Gloves I have Ever Owned, February 7, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These gloves are the best. I have down everything with them. I was actually surprised at how water proof the could be. At least when it came to snow. A few the got covered in snow I just brushed them off and kept working. Now they are not waterproof by no means, but the do a decent job of keeping your hands warm in the winter, and as far snow and light rain they are great. I can grabbed just about anything with the durability of the pads on the palm and fingers. The best test for a glove is to see if you can pick a quarter off floor. I don't have good dexterity but I have been able to pick several quarters up. Overall these are some really good gloves.

This is my second pair of the Ironclad Super duty gloves. I still have my first pair. They are a little worn after 10 years of heavy use, but still useable. Great item!

I was not at all pleased with this product I have had other pairs of Ironclad glove and have been very pleased so I decided to check these out they seem like really nice gloves except the tag was punched through the "Secure, breathable airprene wrist support" leaving a hole which quickly spread so I returned them got a refund and am happy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Gloves, July 27, 2011
4 stars because I'm waiting to see how they hold up. So far so good - I've used for heavy landscaping and light construction. No signs of wear other than dirt! I ordered extra large and they fit great. The thicker material and padding have been great.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Tough Glove, March 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I use these for yard work and most of the Arizona desert thorns do not penetrate the palm area. I am careful though. Gloves from Big Box Store I have tried did not protect as well with the same materials. I really like these gloves.

Sizing on the XXl glove is way off closer to an XL/L so order a size up of go with a different brand.
