These gloves are not nearly as soft as they look in the picture, for one thing. The inside is so harsh on my skin, that it was raw by the time I removed them after a few hours of working. The area across the palm and first set of knuckles is too tight, but the fingers are too long, so finding a proper fit? Not likely. And when the fingers of a glove are too long, trying to do fine tasks like fastening buckles is exceedingly frustrating. These gloves are also not remotely waterproof, as I unpleasantly discovered when filling water buckets in 12 degree weather. About the only thing I liked was the velcro tab at the wrist, as opposed to the normal "flared wrist" style of gloves. But, even so, these did not keep the chill of the wind out, it just whipped through as though I was wearing those $3.99 cloth gloves one can buy at a supermarket. Additionally, even though I used these gloves for only 4-6 hours, the tip of one of the fingers was fraying by the time I got back into the house. So much for "durability"...
Despite all the claims in the promotional text the manufacturer shows on the page for these, I found that not a single one of the claims was true. Perhaps someone who doesn't actually need their fingers when working, and works in weather that is above freezing (and has very long fingers and skinny hands) may find these gloves effective... but I'm still on the hunt for a decent pair of gloves.
Initially they are very tight. If you have really large/fat fingers, you won't like them. They take a few days of work to break in.The advantage of the tight fit is that you can actually grab the the chalk line and snap it with them on.

Not at all what I was hoping for or expecting. They were just like any other pair of fleece gloves. Not warm enough to handle this brutal NYC winter we've been having. Read morePublished 11 months ago by Siz
