About 3 years ago I purchased a 48x19 ironing board because I like the size and I have been running myself ragged trying to find a replacement cover and pad as the pad that came with the board is ultra thin. This item is not only a perfect fit but it is made of very sturdy material and the pad is nice and thick. And from the prices I have seen for smaller covers at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond, this is definitely a bargain!

The cover/pad definitely was heavy-duty and has a fun retro design, but unlike most ironing board covers this one is not adjustable.

Do yourself a favor and measure your ironing board before ordering. Otherwise, you'll find yourself making a return to Amazon like me.

There were several flaws in the cover. Holes etc. Is not standing up as expected.

This Polder ironing board cover and pad is fantastic. I have had my Polder ironing board for about 6 years and have wanted to replace the original silver pad/cover for quite some time as I iron every day. My other half surprised me with this one and I love it. The fabric is not only pretty, it is durable. The pad is thick so when I iron I don't see the grate-like pattern of the actual metal come through like you do with thin, lessor quality pads/covers. I think this is even better than the one that came with the board. The size was perfect! This is an over-sized board and it has been hard to find a cover. Other pattern fabrics are also available. This was worth the money as I believe it's quality will last for several years. This cover is an exact fit for the board sold at Costco. All other covers are only 17" wide. You won't run short with this one.

This cover has a great retro look, fits the oversized boards, and is very good quality. I have absolutely no complaints.

The fabric seemed excellent. However, I spent a 1/2 hr. wrestling with a TOO SHORT cover ...even the cord did not extend for a proper fit! I ended up cutting the cover until I can purchase another. I will NEVER purchase from Polder again!

More companies should make them that well. Great quality!!

I iron clothes for work every week day and need a pad that lasts. This one held up so well that I just bought my second one.
