Yes, just like rest of U, I did my research and settled on the Legacy based on cost, tread length, and warranty. My top choice would have been F85 and then Lifespan; However I saved $500 by buying the Legacy. First, the delivery guy was nice enough to help me bring it in and unbox it (its no light weight). The mill has only three major parts to put together and I easily did it myself; Nice touch was that for each major part they packaged the screws/bolts in three separate bags that matched part #. Also, all the tools needed were included.
It is a very attractive machine (says my girlfriend); I like the TV/DVD screen and that is it's only purpose, all of the controls are on the console (if TV blows, U still good to go); I am 6'4"/200lbs so I had to have a 60" tread and I have plenty of room; Motor is quite; Programs are super nice; Fan does the job; Luv the cool blue console lights vs. red; Nice on my bad knees, so far. On The Downsize: The tread did not come lubicated as indicated; After lubing, U may have to re-adjust the belt which is very easy; The assembly directions are the pits; The hand grip heart monitor off and on works (suggest getting waist optional monitor); Will give an update later as I have only had it 2 months (still have not used all options). Amazon did fine, but U can't get a phone number.

treadmills make me think of gerbil wheels...run and run while going nowhere...but seriously though, this is a purchase that i had a lot of anxiety over...the cost, the shipping, the set-up, the quality...but as soon as it was up and running i didnt think twice about the worries...
the delivery turned out to be real quick...1 week...they delivered it and put it just inside the front door...the box was hundreds of pounds and it was HUGE!!!...we wrangled it down the stairs and set it up in about 30mins... we turned it on and started playing with the buttons and the screen...it seems like a regular tv with tuner...its really solid and sturdy...the pictures shown make it look toyish and gimmicky...quite the opposite...it turned out to be much bigger than i first thought...feels like a commercial fitness gym quality machine... for $1000 i think we made a good decision...we were debating between this treadmill and the bowflex 7series...i dont know what the bowflex is like but im happy with my purchase...

Disappointed,

I purchsed this treadmill 01/07 after reading reviews etc. Only after 1 year I have already had to replace the membrane boards, switches and now they tell me I need to replace the PCB Board. I had a Keys Fitness Pro 750 before this one and after 2 years of being nickled and dimed to death I bought this one...now it starts all over again. Key Fitness tech people are great but the treadmill I'm disappointed in. It only gets used once or twice a day and is down again for repair.

We purchased this treadmill online and had great hopes for it. The TV is ok, although the picture is somewhat dark. Our biggest complaint is having to replace the rubber bumpers that go between the deck and the frame. After a a few months, they start to crumble (you can see remains on the floor beneath the running deck when it is raised.) Without these rubber bumper things, the noise of running on the deck is almost unbearable. We do put on a lot of miles, approx 3000. We have also had to have the motor replaced as well. In the 2 years we have owned this treadmill,we have had t he repair guy out 5 times. There are always months of delays getting the parts as well.
So for light use, it would be fine but for everyday, heavy use, I would not recommend it.

First of all ..i bought this item from Costco about 1 year 6months back. Just to give you some perspective, im about 6ft 2inches tall & used to weigh about 248 Pounds. I needed a strong & sturdy treadmill with a highly rated motor & a large running suface. This model was available at Costco for $999/- (with $200/- coupon). My wife & i decided that the investment was worth it.
Here iam ...after 1 year at 230 pounds. It has worked wonders for me so far ..not a single mechanical or electrical issue. Both of us have put it to reasonable use. Having a TV really helps as you can combine entertainment & health. Here are some positives: 1-Large Running Surface 20/60 2-Large Motor 3 HP 3-Built in Fan for cooling 4-LCD TV with AV/Co-Axail Inputs 5-Foldable Cons: 1-I noticed that the belt needs some alignment now (this is after 1.5 years of moderate use) 2-A lot of dust accumaltes near the belt & im not sure if that can cause a problem 3-Some part of the construction is cheap plastic 4-Monitors are not the most accurate but it does the job Final Thoughts...For those of you who are not the atheletic types & are first timers to running, i highly recommend this treadmill. Its affordable & has a good sturdy feel to it. For those of you who are professional atheletes, all i can say is i have not had a single issue with moderate use. Check with other regular users before you buy.

We recently purchased the Ironman Legacy Treadmill W/TV for $950+. This treadmill is ok, not great, just ok. We have had it for about a month and already the buttons are starting to rip from being pushed. I read all the reveiws and no one seedmed to have this problem. The treadmill feels kind of cheesy when running on it. I weigh about 225, it is rated at 350, I should feel more secure on it, but don't. 1 last thing, the bars are too close together and I keep hitting my hands on them.
