Great Wood But Not Enough Room,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ironwood Gourmet Acacia Wood Rectangle Tea Chest (Kitchen)
Ironwood Gourmet Acacia Wood Rectangle Tea ChestThe wood finish is very nice but I found that the compartments for tea bags are tight. A regular Bigelow or Twinings individually wrapped tea bag will fit but it is a very tight squeeze. The lid will not close all the way if they are placed in the box standing straight up. Also, the chain broke as soon as I opened the box. All in all, the tea chest's wood is very nice and the compartments many.

The box is lovely to look at but the compartments are too small for any tea bags in paper wrappers, like Stash or Twinnings brand. It would fit any unwrapped tea bags but I fear that might contaminate the flavor of all of the tea bags if they were to all sit in the closed box without wrappers.

It was very pretty, enough for display. However, the compartments were too small to hold my various tea bags flat. It's not much help if they have to be placed sideways so you can't see what the flavor is!
