Have Macarons by Bérengère Abraham which I highly recommend and bought an extra copy of for a gift to a friend. We love Macarons. And this lovely book by José Maréchal is equally wonderful. Especially like that this book has different macarons than Bérengère Abrahams.

Love José Maréchal's Vanilla which is so elegant and fresh. Had looked for an excellent recipe and he had it in this gem of a book, which I will probably buy another copy of for my friend.

His Strawberry, and Raspberry are refreshing and are being made a lot right now as this is fresh berry season and I am out picking berries weekly. His Lime macaron recipe is utterly awesome and again we have fresh lemons and get asked to make these almost weekly. His Honey (I am a bee keeper)recipe was a godsend as I love using honey and while it calls for pollen de fleurs which is bee pollen, you can omit it if you don't have access to it.

And on page 58 he has the most fabulous Chocolat Terrine which uses a macaron recipe. I have a Le Creuset terrine that I used to make the recipe and it was the best dessert my guests had tasted in months and in a couple case, years. It has a white chocolat mousse, a dark chocolat icing, and a chocolat caramel mousse.

I would share the recipe here but I shant because of copyright laws. Just know that this book is a must own for anyone who loves French macarons and wants to make delicious ones. The photographs and directions are so spot on, easy to follow, that I think even a novice could make the macarons.
