I don't think people realize that Amazons fees to sell the product cost more than the product. No one is going to do all the work to ship these to Amazon to lose money by selling it at the TJ's in store price.
I live three hours away from the closest TJ. I just ran out of TJ Cookie Butter. I hate to say but I am willing to pay it. I am stuck at home recovering from lumbar fusion surgery so I will not be making it for a while.
You are paying for the price of the seller to physically go down to Trader Joe's buy a bunch of inventory and then ship it to Amazon to store, process and ship for an additional cost with whatever is left for profit, assuming there is any. How much is your time worth and how close are you to Trader Joe's given gas prices these days?
Personally, I bought a bottle of the name brand stuff direct from amazon as part of their add on program.
