A brilliant insight into the life of the late, great writer. The plying of Singer's memories, narratives, and point of view is masterful. The camera work is especially noteworthy, as it peers deeply into the man while retaining his essential humanity, common touch, and warm sense of humor. I watch this video over and over, just to have another chance to look into those soulful, searching eyes. Those eyes!
