Isagenix Cleansing and Fat Burning System - 9 Day Program (Tropical Berry/Chocolate Shake)

My husband and I did the 9-day cleanse together. We had both chocolate and the vanilla isalean shakes. I liked the chocolate--it's more a mexican type chocolate/cocoa taste. My husband did not like the chocolate at all -- so he stuck to the vanilla. We did not buy ours at Amazon.com, but through our neighbor who just brought it in to the health club where she works. We got some great instructions, a time line for when you drink/eat/snack with little check boxes. Very helpful. It was challenging at points -- the hardest thing was making food for the children. I also had to limit my outings with the kids so that we were not around food. I must say, the 11 days (I did the optional two day 'pre-cleanse') were very calm.

My husband lost 12 pounds, I lost six. Best wishes if you try it!

I did the 30 day program about 2 years ago, more for the cleansing benefit than the weight loss. Surprisingly, I was able to stick to it for the full 30 days and this was November - yes, I still had a Thanksgiving and was still able to stick to it. By the end, the liquid cleanse days were so easy I stretched the last into 3 days and felt fine. I like the taste of the shake but the juice is gross - I would shoot it like alcohol and chase it with water. I felt great the whole time I was on it (and after!). The best part was when the cravings left me. I did not have another craving for anything probably for a year, the weight I lost also stayed off for about a year. During the "meal" days you get to eat regular food (within reason), and the cleanse days I found to be tolerable if I followed the instructions to the letter because it is designed to keep your blood sugar level stable so you don't feel hungry. I highly recommend the product! Word of warning though - you don't drink any alcohol for obvious reasons while cleansing. When you finish the 30 days, be VERY careful with alcohol consumption (I was not and sorely regretted it) - your liver is fresh and new after this and it is like taking your first drink. It will hit you like a wall if you are not careful.

I have been trying to lose weight, coincidentally heard about Isagenix and ordered it the same day. "A gentleman at a restaurant refused to have dessert because he didn't want to ruin his amazing results. According to him he had lost around 12 pounds in 9 days. He was not trying to sell the product, so I tried to remember the product name and ordered it as soon as I got home." The chocolate shake was delicious as well as the chocolate snack, but as the days passed they were a punishment to me; I wanted a warm meal instead. I needed two days for the pre-cleansing. The third day, which was going to be my first cleansing day, I woke up and noticed that the ceiling was spinning. I got up and lost my balance. At this point I thought about driving to work the following day and how I needed to be in good physical health. I had the courage to continue, but would you like to collide with a dizzy driver? This was serious! I had a small bowl of sugar free cereal and fat-free milk. Two hours later I was OK and decided to continue with the diet. After that I never got dizzy again. The only problem was hunger. The cleansing days I was allowed to drink water and a special juice (liquid cleanse). I cannot tell you that my energy level was extraordinary, but I wasn't weak either. I panicked when I noticed that I had to take some Natural Accelerator Capsules. I started with half of a capsule to see if I had a bad reaction. I suffer from rapid heart beat and anything as simple as cola, tea or seasonings can affect the pace of my heart. While on the cleansing I had to go to training after work. I was learning to use a computer program and was impressed that I followed all the steps and didn't get lost. I get distracted easily, so I really wonder if the diet helped me to focus. This was the first time of my life that I had been able to cope with my inattention problems. To make the story short (too late for that), I finished the pre-cleansing and cleansing. My only fault was to eat the bowl of cereal I told you about. Before the cleansing the scale had been fluctuating between 135-140 pounds from day to day. Isagenix just made sure that my weight was 135 steady pounds and the scale stopped its little game. The last two cleansing days I lost another pound. I care more about achieving permanent results without jeopardazing my health. I didn't lose water, but body fat. One pound of fat is a lot. Would I do it again? I don't know.

I got the Chocolate shake and Tropical one. And boy I found it to be so yuck! I could not stand the chocolate shake at all. It does not taste like chocolate. Tropical juice is alright. I can bear that for a bit. I actually gave up on the whole 9 days thing. I tried. Here's a suggestion for the chocolate one that I tried- Blend in bananas with the shake. It helps a little bit with the taste. it going to take me more then 9 days to to this. Next time I'll try the Vanilla.
