This is a very good, in-depth study of the book of Isaiah. While not for the undeducated, it is an excellent verse-by-verse explanation of the history, background, and explanations of Isaiah's words. Brings a deeper understanding and appreciation for the prophetic wisdom and Holy Spirit guidance shown in this remarkable, and timely, book of the Bible.

This book of Isaiah from the Bible is the Old Testament book most quoted by Jesus and the apostles to explain the purpose of Jesus coming to earth as a man. The author, Mr. Motyer, is one of the leading Old Testament experts in the world today and is also a lucid writer. The book is small so I take it with me all the time to read and re-read.

I purchased from amazon, book is new, in great condition and in my opinion just from skimming through the book has more information than explained in the description area. The book is great and informative and it is in a language everyone can understand. I recommend this book to whoever has inquiries about it. I received it fast in the mail earlier than expected delivery date. thanks again.

I appreciate the approach to a large Old Testament book full of prophecies. I can understand the vocabulary and yet am challenged to grasp the wonderful meanings for the prophet, Isaiah's day, The Day of the LORD, and also our day presently. The Holy One of Israel is also our Suffering Servant and Redeemer.
