Critical Views is a collection of essays and articles that have appeared over the years about Isak Dinesen. The average reader would have a difficult time tracking these articles to their source, but Olga Pelensky has gathered some of the very best essays about Dinesen in this volume. Some of the essays are appearing in English for the first time. The book is really for scholars or passionate Dinesen fanatics. A number of the essays provide some very helpful insights into Dinesen's fiction.
