Isiah Thomas Pocket Magic

This book was based on Isiah Thomas, which was a basketball player. Isiah didn't have a lot of money growing up. In 1981the Pistons drafted Isiah Thomas. In 1982 Isiah started in his first NBA All-Star game.

I think Isiah is a good roll model. He is sweet, kind, friendly, responsible, and smart. He likes basketball he says it is his hobby.

The conflict was that Isiah's mother raised him and eight other children by herself. She didn't make a lot of money.

They solved the conflict because Isiah went to the NBA and made 400,000 a year. He bought his mother a house in Chicago. When he visited he would take his mother out of the bad parts of Chicago.

I would recommend this book to people who like to read about people's lives. Another reason why I would recommend this book would be no matter what situation your in you can always come out on top.
