Joel Richardson's book, "The Islamic Antichrist: The Shocking Truth About the Real Nature of the Beast" is one every serious student of Bible Prophecy and the end-times needs to read. It is the clearest and most direct picture of Islamic Eschatology that I have read. For over 20 years I have studied the various end-times teachings looking for something that really made sense. Joel's book is the major puzzle piece that perfectly fits with the Scripture that does not need to be crammed into place.

So many folks have gotten turned off of Bible prophecy because so many teachers have had to make up fantastic scenerios - doing twists and turns - to try to fit the "Roman End-time Paradigm" into the books of Daniel and Revelations. If you are one of those people who want a clear picture of what is happening right before your eyes and how it fits into Bible prophecy - GRAB THIS BOOK!

It reads like today's newspaper with the emergence of the Islamic Mahdi and the resurgent Islamic Caliphate emanating from Turkey. The rantings of the Iranian President and the strengthening of Hamas and Hezbollah only confirm this book's premise - The Islamic world is bent on destroying Israel and subjugating the rest of the world under the oppression of Sharia Law. Those who stand up against this force will face but one end - death. The "religion of peace" is the exact opposite. In their view there will be no peace until everyone confesses that "there is no god but Allah..."

If you want an accurate picture of what the Koran and the Islamic commentaries teach and are preached today in every Mosque around the world about the coming Apocalypse, the rise of the Imam Mahdi and the emergence of the Islamic Jesus (Isa) - this is the book to read and re-read again. I have given out copies to friends and family and pastors alike. I seriously urge you to do the same. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

I am so glad this book is being presented again to the public. What I loved so much about this book, besides that fact that I believe it to be an accurate reflection of reality, is that it is presented cleanly, concisely, and without any amount of stretch to prove the point - basically exactly what one would expect from the truth - it needs no dressing.

The time is right for this book and I am praying every day for it to sweep the world...not just so Joel can reap the rewards of his hard work...but so the eyes of the lost can be opened...and the eyes of those found can be pointed in the proper direction.

Remember, the Lord told us to watch. The Lord told us we would know the signs and see it coming. The Lord said that understanding would be increased in the latter days, that we would have visions and dreams to facilitate our understanding of his Word.

That time is now. Don't miss it.

If anyone thinks the US economy turned from good to bad in a short amount of time, watch how fast these end time events move upon us. When all is in place, the final events will sweep the planet with blinding speed.

Recall the Lord's words about a great deception...so great that even the elect would be deceived if such were possible. This book will prepare you for this coming deception, which is being made clear to us today.

I bought this book without realizing that it is simply "Antichrist: Islam's Awaited Messiah" but with a couple of appendices at the end to update it from when it was originally written in 2006. I know that this is a hardcover and the original book was paperback, but if you change the title from the original book at least let people know what they are getting.

The true nature of Islam has been exposed in spite of the political spin espoused by its muslim members. Joel Richardson has the correct credentials in exposing the deception inherent in the so-called religion of peace. Although I disagree with some of his eschatalogical opinions, over all this book re-enforces the alarm that other ex-muslims have sounded to the western world.

The popular end-times teachings of the evangelical church never made much sense to me (A Roman antichrist, a one world government with total control over all its citizens etc.) The Biblical support for these views seems rather sketchy to me, and I wondered how so many prophecy teachers today could totally ignore the growing influence of Islam in the world today. When I read this book, all the pieces came together for me. It was a total paradigm shift for me, and now as I read the Bible and observe world events, I can see Joel's hypothesis falling right into place. I highly recommend this book.

Islam is the 2nd largest and fastest growing religion in the world. Predictions are that by 2055 one-half of the global births will be to Muslim families. Islam is already the fastest growing religion in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Much of the U.S. increase is among inner-city blacks, and most of these areas will be predominantly Moslem by 2020.
There is a close correlation between the biblical eschatological characters and those in Islam. The main character in Islamic eschatology is the Madhi who closely resembles the Beast in biblical eschatology. According to Islam he will be riding a white horse (which Richardson says could be either figuratively or literally). He will set up a new world order and restore the Islamic caliphate (which was abolished in 1923). The Bible refers to the Beast as the antichrist. Both biblical and Islamic eschatology say the Madhi (Islam) and the Beast (biblical) will make a 7 year truce with Israel but will break it after 3 1/2 years. The Old Testament prophet Daniel says the antichrist will change the times and the laws which Richardson says could be the institution of the shariah law and the Islamic calendar.
Joel Richardson explains the relevance of biblical eschatology in light of Islamic beliefs, and it is relevant and frightening future.

This is an excellent resource for understanding Islam in light of Biblical prophecy. This book will remain in my collection to be frequently referenced in my preparation for our Bible prophecy class.

There have been numerous publications about Islam. Despite the number and variety of published information, there is something missing. We have not seen a clear overview or mission statement that connects the available material for us. A book by Joel Richardson, the "Muslim Antichrist", goes a long way towards solving that problem. In a thoroughly researched theory, drawing extensively from the Bible and Muslim traditions, an astonishingly clear picture emerges. Joel writes that the similarities of Islamic and Bible eschatological (end of time) study are downright eerie.

The Last Day of Judgement is important in Christianity, but it seems the main Christian churches have lost some direction. Not so in Islam! If a Muslim does not believe in it, he will suffer a terrible punishment, he is told. To Muslims, the thought of failing on that Last Day eats away at many, so some choose to become suicide bombers, thinking they will go straight to heaven.

In the Third Chapter (Sura) of the Koran, Mohamed spends a lot of time talking about the perfect man, Jesus, son of Mary. Then he tells us that Jesus will return, but as a Muslim. Why does Islam need Jesus? Could this be identity theft?

Joel's research into Islamic Hadiths has found they have a Jesus returning to earth, but as a subordinate to the most important figure, the Mahdi. The Mahdi conquers many countries by military force and installs Islam as the only religion, with death for unbelievers. The role of the Muslim Jesus is to discredit his namesake, the biblical Jesus. He organises implementation of Islamic Sharia Law over the world they rule and is the enforcer.

The Muslims regard the Mahdi as a Messiah figure. He is a man of extraordinary gifts and talents. Islamic tradition pictures the Mahdi taking over leadership of the black flag army that comes from Khurasan in Iran and conquers Jerusalem for Islam. He proceeds to set himself up at the Temple Mount.

There is a third person in Islamic traditions; the dreaded one eyed Dajjal, a man whom opposes them. He performs many miracles, but the Muslims attribute all of that to satanic powers. The Muslims paint him as a cheat, a liar, and a deceiver who is trying to gather souls to satisfy his satanic lust. Christians will know this man as their biblical Jesus. In the end there is a battle and according to Islamic eschatology, the Mahdi defeats the Biblical Jesus and the Jews.

For most of the above story, the Bible has similar prophecies, but counteract Islamic perceptions. Helping Joel's theory, a search on Google for " John the Baptist and the false prophet" will facilitate supporting evidence.

The author proceeds to match up similarities between the expected Antichrist in the Bible with Islamic predictions for the Mahdi. The Islamic Jesus will return to earth and prepare the way for the Mahdi. The Mahdi will ask his Jesus to say the prayers before going into battle with the Jews, but the Muslim Jesus hands that honour back to the Mahdi. He wants to show, that he is not divine and is a subordinate only.

The Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus cause much confusion. The protection tax operating since Mohamed's day, whereby non-Muslims were allowed to live, is abolished. This results in the killing of millions of people unwilling to become Muslims. Then, the dreaded Dajjal appears and takes over as leader of the Jews. The Bible differs from Muslim literature here, as the biblical Jesus becomes the Redeemer.

"A fair argument could be made that this generation is the first since the apostolic generation with such universal witness to the imminence of the final hour", says Joel.

He lets us know that prayer will be the best way for us to proceed and ask the Almighty for assistance. He also believes that showing the love of Jesus is the best way in our dealings with the Muslims, as in the end it will open the door for many conversions to Christianity.

The book has pages of references for study purposes and recommendations through write-ups by a dozen well known pastors and Islamic affairs writers including Robert Spencer and Walid Shoebat.

In deciding if the book is relevant for today, the reader may want to consider why Amahdinejad, President of Iran, publicly prays for the return of the Mahdi. They may also want to consider why " Jesus is a prophet of Islam" billboards are appearing in some of our Australian capital cities.

WOW!!! This is going to be hard review. I am finished with the Islamic Antichrist and I am almost speechless. I will say this first, I would put this book in a top ten everyone should read list. OK, This is a book about islamic beliefs about the end time (prophecy). Why should that matter to you. Well lets say your an agnostic or atheists, A Buddhists or a Shinto, or a Wica, No matter your beliefs, or if you have no belief at all, this book is still very important. Why? because the leaders of Iran (the president and the religious leaders) believe they are to cause a huge war with the west, to cause these end time prophecies to take place. So It may effect everyone on earth. And they are not the only ones, Osama Bin Ladin and his Al Quada crew have the same beliefs, among countless others. So I urge you to read it even if just to understand their beliefs. Richardson does a great job of using the Koran, the Sayings of Mohammed (Hadiths), the History (the muslims is to emulate the life of the prophet) and other scholarly works (including interviewing scholars) to show just what they do believe. Of course muslims are not monolithic in their beliefs, but we are talking about a sizable group who believe in these prophecies. My guess is this will effect almost all of us living hear on planate earth now. Sometime in the feature. For Bible believing christians you will be astounded at how the muslims are set up to accept the anti christ (mahdi) and False prophet (there version of Jesus) as the fulfillment of there prophecies. And at the same time they are set up to fight against the real Christ when he returns. You have got to read this book, Richardson lines up the islamic prophecies with the Bible prophecies and shows how they the muslims beliefs are the opposite of the scriptures. The Beast from the Land is the Islamic messiah and we know that it is not. The mark of the best is a god thing to this belief, it is a sign of allegiance to the Mahdi. They are the antichrist religion. This book, The Islamic Antichrist, was not written to make anyone mad at muslims but to do the opposite. to light a fire under christians to work to help convert Muslims before its to late. And I would encourage everyone to read it. As a side note; I would huge all Muslims to remember this one thing (if your hear on earth when the Mahdi comes), when your Mahdi come and he sets up his rule in Jerusalem and three and one half year after his peace treaty with israel and He says he is ALLAH, and you must worship him. Know you have been wrong and the Christians have been right all along. At that tome you will have the choice to worship this anti christ or die. You have been warned before hand. Peace be with you!

I have hardly been able to put this down. It puts so many things into perspective regarding our responsibilities as BELIEVERS.
