Publication Date: December 1, 1988 | Series: Dover Pictorial Archive
This entertaining collection invites sharp-eyed young sleuths to ferret out a host of hidden objects, letters, numbers, and words in 48 seemingly normal illustrations. Look a little closer and you'll find all sorts of things tucked away where they don't belong: a coffee cup in a ten-gallon hat, a tennis racket in headlights, and more.

4.0 out of 5 starsAn excellant source for Arabic designs!, September 22, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Islamic Designs for Artists and Craftspeople (Dover Pictorial Archive) (Paperback)
Ms. Wilson presents various elements of Arabic designs drawn mostly in black and white. She includes instruction for reproducing the designs and commentary on time periods and original colors used. The only thing that would have made this book better would have been pictures of the artifacts she refers to in her extensive documentation. A must have for anyone doing Islamic or Arabic arts!

This is a good resource. The sources of the designs are generally given (or at the very least, there's an indication of when/where the design came from).
