This is an excellent little book to introduce design patterns from another part of the world to western children.
Familiarity with the culture of another country, or region, when enjoyed as children, will go a long way to helping them grow up to be more open-minded and curious about other people, who in essence are just like us. This book also allows for personal creativity in the choice of colours which produce the patterns.

This is as good if not better than Arabic Allover Designs. I would strongly suggest you get both of them. Wonderful shapes and patterns.
