Island Bamboo OS24SR Over the Sink Cutting Board with Red Colander

I'm writing this partly for potential buyers, and partly in hopes that Island Bamboo will see it.

I looked at this for several minutes in the store before I decided to buy it. It's so unusual, I had to stop and think how I might use it.

The good news is I immediately figured out how I could use it in my cooking process. It's quite versatile and useful in my small kitchen. I liked having a "soft, flexible bucket" to throw things that had been washed and cut. (That's just one of the uses I found.)

The bad news is: The plastic colander stinks. As in, it smells bad. I washed it very carefully, but the characteristic smell of whatever kind of plastic that is can easily be discerned at arms length.

I'm keeping the board, hoping to find another colander that fits.
