This is a great Cd by Bertie Higgins. He is a Florida native, and later moved to Atlanta. This cd contains great "Tropical" southern rock. Afterall, Bertie is from the deep southeast U.S.A., plus many of his songs contains a "Southern", "Tropical" theme.

The songs are as follows:
1. "Key Largo" (I've been there several times, and when I listen to this, "it takes me back").
2."My Tropical Vacation"
3. "Kokomo"
4. "Montego Bay" (His version is different - its better than the original version - it makes you want to join in on the fun).
5. "The Gulf of Mexico"
6. "The Redneck Riviera" - (Now this is pure southern rock, I used to live in this "redneck riviera" that he is singing about - It's roughly from Panama City, Florida to Gulf Shores Alabama). IT'S A LONG STRETCH OF SAND MADE FOR THE COMMON MAN).
7. "In Christiansted" (very carrabean)
8. "Day Off"
9. "Bojanglin on the Bayou" (Now this one is pure southern rock also).
10."Jamacia Farewell" (very carrabean).
11."Just Another Day in Paradise"
12 "Leah" with Roy Orbison

Overal, this is a great cd to add to any collection, especially if you like "Southern (U.S.A.) Tropical" music, and in that context, I recomend it. Thanks!!!!

I would reccommend this cd to all Bertie Higgins fans. I first saw his show in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. I became a fan and highky reccommend this cd to all people who love island music.
