3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent concept, poor execution April 13, 2009

I really like the concept of having to work to turn off one's alarm clock. I have a hard time waking up and find that this clock helps since I have to walk across the room to get my laser. The only down side is that the alarm is very quiet and is not annoying. The alarm is the same 5-second tune played over and over again, not a buzzer. I can easily sleep through the tune when wearing ear plugs, and it isn't too difficult to sleep through without. I suggest one gets a serious alarm clock (or two) in conjunction with this alarm clock.

I gave this product to a 13 year old boy and he loves it. He doesn't mind waking up how so he can have target practice! I would recommend this clock to young and old. Jan in Jersey

Gave this as a gag to my teenage son, a notoriously heavy sleeper. Everyone thought it was hilarious. I'm glad I bought him a serious alarm clock as well. This product is fun and enjoyable as a toy, but is will not wake anyone up except a kid who enjoys the target novelty. The single feature alarm is really quiet and the clock is as basic as you can get.
