Baby its cold outside! Mr. Perrin delivers a HOT romance in Jamacia! I loved the story and I dont want to give the plot away - but Ms. Perrin writes about so many women out there is this story - one's who don't trust themselves to love again after being hurt...this story is wonderful and the setting makes me want to go to Jamacia NOW!

If you are thinking of getting this book.. JUST DO IT. It was romantic, captivating, and I simply couldn't put this book down. I've read other books by Ms. Perrin, and this is one of my favorites.

The book Island Fantasy came to me in a reasonable amount of time in great condition. I would order from this company again.

This was the first "Kimani Romance" that I've read, and have to say that the tone is sort of Harlequin Blaze-ish. While it's part of a series marketed towards African American readers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ISLAND FANTASY to any romance fan looking for a hot island romance.

I really enjoyed this book it was the first that I have read from Kayla Perrin but it won't be my last. I liked the way she had Shayla to stand up for herself through adversity and then have the strength to take the trip and journey alone. I enjoyed the way that the realization that even though you are with someone for a long time and feel that they are right for you it doesn't always end in happiness, sometimes you have to grab something that is right there in front of you and you don't realize it because of the influence of other's. You can't base you life on the mistakes that your family and friends make, your experience just might be different. I read this book in a few hours it kept my interest and made me look forward to the outcome. The fact that Shayla was a romance novelist sure didn't hurt. And the attraction between Donovan and Shayla from the start was captivating and drew me right in. Made me feel like I was back in Jamaica again because I have been to many of the places that was mentioned. Ms Perrin did her thing and held her own in this Hotties Series. Kudos!!!!

I was upset at first when she found out about her man. But she came up with a hottie and that made me very, very happy.

I THOUGHT SHAYNA AND DONOVAN'S STORY WAS AMAZING. I COULDN'T PUT THE BOOK DOWN,SO TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS AN ISLAND FANTASY READ THIS BOOK.

I enjoyed this story of Shayna who has lost all faith in love after dealing with a disappointing (to say the least) fiance. Having been extremely hurt the day before the wedding, Shayna bravely decides to go on the "honeymoon that would have been" trip alone. In the beautiful setting of Jamaica Shayna meets charming and gorgeous Donovan, but has to deal with her hurt and strongly assess whether she is willing to go beyond a "holiday fling" and put her heart on the line again. Both the main characters are extremely well developed and likable! The supporting cast of characters nicely complement the main story line.

The quick timing after a major disappointment was the only questionable story component in my mind, but author Perrin deals with it in the story as well.

As in the past, I enjoyed the believable characters and engaging storyline created by Perrin and will definitely look forward to her next book!
