5.0 out of 5 stars Books that keep on giving
Mini Masters Boxed Set

I have several of these small, chunky cardboard, highly glossed pre-school and beginning readers books. The beautiful, colorful photos of the artist's work along with simplistic poetry complimenting each work is delightful to read to your tots and beginning elementary students. 3.0 out of 5 stars My 18-month old likes it!
My 18-month old likes the pictures. Not into the words so much, but she's only a toddler.

The beautiful, colorful photos of the artist's work along with simplistic poetry complimenting each work is delightful to read to your tots and beginning elementary students. My older Grand Boys, age 10, 11 & 16 can quickly recognize the works of these artists, thanks to these small volumes. You could too with these associative books!

I LOVE these books. I am learning along with my two-year-old son about the masters, and he enjoys looking at the art. We went to our city's museum of art last weekend, and he looked at a Renoir he just happened to recognize from the Renoir book in this series and said, "Look, Mommy, Renoir!" Another lady looked at me like I had a little genius. Seriously, these are all great books with (of course) beautiful artwork - and fun text. Our favorites are Picasso and Seurat.

We've been reading this to our son since he was three months old. He loves the bright colors and the simple wording.
