5.0 out of 5 stars Very unusual
I just wanted to say that this book is one of the most unusual Pokemon books ever written. Basically, Pikachu, along with most of Ash's other Pokemon, get stranded on a desert island where they meet Pokemon that are ten times bigger than they would normally be. I like Pokemon but this book bombs it! This covers the Tv show as the first book and the third. Big whoop, Pokemon are talking. I suggest don't buy this book if you are in fifth grade or fourth.

Not only that, when the Pokemon speak in this episode, there are subtitles so we can understand them. This is the first time we get to find out what the Pokemon are saying. We get to see things from their point of view, and that is what makes this book so interesting. I think this is a book that just about every kid will enjoy, whether he or she likes Pokemon or not.

The T.V. episode of this book is great because the pokemon talk in their own language. It also shows a lot of cool pokemon.

I have to fight my son to read ANYTHING and he doesn't put these books down. He is on the third in the series in only two weeks. Tracey West must be doing something right because my 10 year old loves these books! I highly recommend any book by Tracey West!

A Kid's Review
The book Pokemon is very exciting and has adventures in the book. There are three characters Ash, Broke, and Misty. There are twenty Pokemon books!
In each book Ash tries to catch Pokemon, but a gang called Team Rocket always gets in the way. I can't tell you why you have to read the book to know why. I hope you read these books because you're going to miss the fun and adventures. I like this book because there are always new Pokemon in each book!
