This CD is a wonderful upbeat collection of songs. If you like the don't worry, be happy type of music, this is for you!

Mellow calypso by the master,

At age 70, Irving Burgie still has the chops, but the songs lack the spark of the Harry Belafonte versions recorded for the album Calypso (and others) 40 years earlier. These are great songs, done by the writer who has clearly sung them many, many times. A nice album, and I'm very glad to hear Burgie is still around and working. If you're familiar with his work, this is a good addition to your collection.
