The Bay Islands are a group of Caribbean islands located in the Bay of Honduras: Roatan, Utila, Guanaja and Cayos Cochinos. They are the last frontier of the Caribbean and you have to be adventurous to live there for any length of time. Pirates are alive and well. Treasure hunting is a serious business, especially on Roatan, since it is rumored that many treasures still remain to be found. Challenges abound and only the strongest make it. The islands can be a great place for a vacation but you have to know what to expect and prepare accordingly. The Bay Islands 411 Book explains everything you need to know for your vacation, to live there and to do business there. From an almost luxurious vacation to a rough-it-up, bottom-price backpack vacation, to living and surviving, to dealing with health matters and legal matters in a Third World country, the book contains everything you need to know, including a whole section with treasure hunting tips!
