A fun read, but nothing great,
By RavenRing (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Islands of the Black Moon (Paperback)
This book is about a girl named Lila, who travels to another world by accident when she opens a bottle her aunt gives her. She ends up searching for her father, who had disappears years before and she thinks that he might be on this island world.
This book was ok, but it is for quite a young age group. At least, younger then me. It is very short, and rather one dimensional. The description of the new world is fun, and Lila is rather likable, but still without much personalty. And no matter what Amazon says, this book shows no connection to the "Tales of the Nine Charms Trilogy" even if it is by the same person.
