Beautiful photos os the Islas de Bahia
This book takes you right there! The images are lovely and catch the flavor of the islands very well. I wish there were more photos of the rest of Guanaja but it's still very nice.

but the proceeds DO go for a good cause
Maybe it is because it's a special order book and it took OVER 2 months after paying for it that it finally appeared... maybe the anticipation made it impossible for the book to stand up to my expectation. It's a nice book.. but there's more pages with no photos than I would have thought. And lots of the photos are of people, which would be fine if there were LOTS of...

It's a nice book.. but there's more pages with no photos than I would have thought. And lots of the photos are of people, which would be fine if there were LOTS of photos of the landscape. This book has a few nice photos but after being to Roatan and seeing for myself and even bringing home a few spectactular pictures, I would have thought a professionally made book would blow me away... and it didn't. It's a nice book. But it's not as good as it could have been.

Impossible not to look at,

Happily purchased in a grocery store there, it was produced as a fundraiser for an island medical clinic. The book is beautiful with the copy in both English and Spanish set side by side. I found the photos accurately gorgeous and the text informative as well as being a guide to my Spanish language expansion. If interested at all in Roatan and the Bay Islands, buy it!
