I have read many books of a similar nature to this one. I have found this one to be outstanding! Each of us is on a different path in life, and perhaps this book will not speak to everyone as it did to me. However, it is certainly worth picking it up and reading it to find out! I have recommended this book to friends and each has told me how it touched them on such a personal level. One friend couldn't quite finish the book at first, but that was because he was going through a difficult time in life and could not find the courage to seek his answers within. He kept wanting to blame others, outside himself. Once he was able to finish the book, he too had wonderful things to say about it.

Trust in this book. It is 112 pages of pure light!

This is a book whose reward is Truth... not somebody else's, but the journey back to our own. It is a shame that one of the reviewers gave this book less than complimentary remarks. Perhaps if this individual would have read the book (instead of putting it aside after reading the first sentence) with an open mind, they might have come away with something beautiful. As the author states, we are all on different paths and no one can say what will be right for any other. But I believe Islands of the Soul is a wonderful book for my journey in life, and do recommend it highly to others.

This book was recommended to me by someone who had gone through a rough time in their life. They had been sad, depressed, and unhappy. They found the book at a bookstore and could not put it down. After reading it, I understand why! Because of this book, I was able to stop being afraid and begin the steps necessary to build my own happiness. I found my inner sense of Truth and went with it! I am now the owner of my own business, and have never been happier overall!

This book was very disappointing. Everything in it I had already read and learned about in books from other authors, such as deepak chopra. I also thought the points the author was trying to make were weak, and didn't give enough information for full understanding. Do yourself a favor, and skip this book. Instead, pick up "Seven spiritual laws of success" and "The book of secrets" by Deepak Chopra. Also, another great one is "healing your aloneness" by Margaret Paul.

I bought this book along with Joseph Dispenza'a "God on Your Own", thinking that it was from a similar perspective. While Dispenza's book was an amazing and helpful story of his movement away from organized religion, "Islands" lost credibility for me as soon as I read that the "authors" were basically channeled spiritual beings. I didn't finish this book.
