First, I agree with the other reviewer who found the music both calming and uplifting at the same time....an attribute I find in a lot of celtic music also. I have read that Claire is an accomplished player of the celtic harp and I guess I thought that I would be hearing it on this cd which instead uses mostly synthesizers. This isn't necessarily a bad thing...it just wasn't what I expected.

Although I have a Kitaro cd I like and a few others, I'm not a huge fan of synthesizers and pc generated music. For me, it just sounds too synthetic. I love hearing strings vibrate (but that may be because I am a guitar nut) and the haunting sound of wooden flutes.

Claire is obviously a talented lady and I have an enormous amount of respect for her husband Michael and the work he has done. He is a true patriot. I bought this cd in support of both of them and will buy another...if Claire plays the harp :). My only harp cd is by Lisa Lynne and I enjoy it very much.

Just got a chance to sit back and relax listening to Claire's album. It's a soothing combination of musical pieces that are calming but uplifting at the same time. I'd like a cassette so I can play it out on my boat when we're anchored and just watching clouds go by...reminds me of the cover.

Claire Rivero's Isle of Sanctuary provides just that: a peaceful place to enjoy her beautiful music. I love playing it at the end of the day when I want to clear out the cobwebs that have accumulated. It's like being transported to a secluded place, an isle, where peace reigns. Thank you, Claire. Keep making beautiful music to enrich the world.
