5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!
I purchased the Isoflex ball to help improve my finger and hand strength for playing the piano. Within days I noticed improvement. Now about a month later, I am totally impressed with the results. So far, the ball is holding up well. If it does break, I'll buy another one.

2.0 out of 5 stars It is a little, leaky bag full of sand.
Here is what this is: a little leaky bag full of sand, with a fairly fragile plastic covering. I'm not sure why, in this day and age, Isoflex can't find a plastic that lasts longer than a few months, but I assure you that the other reviewer is right, and the bag will break. Once the bag breaks, little clear grains of what is (probably) artificial sand start to leak out...

Once the bag breaks, little clear grains of what is (probably) artificial sand start to leak out and you have to throw the whole thing away. The whole process has made me extremely stressed out and I will probably have to buy another stress ball just in order to cope. Also, you will find yourself wondering why you paid good money for something you could have made yourself with a sandwich bag and a trip to your local beach.

Yup, its a bag of sand. You can accomplish the same thing by filling 4 latex gloves with sand from the beach. Also, the color bleeds all over your hands, desk, keyboard....not happy.

I ordered this stress ball and got it about 5 days later. The next day, i was squeezing it and it just broke in my hand. The sandy stuff on the inside, was pouring out all over the place so i threw it in the trash can. I was so upset!!!!! My moms friend, bought a stress ball either last year or the year before from a store, and she still has it. If your going to buy this strees ball,be prepared for it to break.

If you want this product I suggest that you find a balloon, fill it with sand, and pop it. I had this thing for 8 hours before it broke throwing this fake sand all over my desk. Cleaning up the mess was way more stressful than what I was dealing with when using the stress reliever.

2.0 out of 5 stars broke after 5 days, March 22, 2011

I loved it but it broke after 5 days of using it. I got sand everywhere and it was hard to clean. I wish they would use a more resistant material.

I received this stress ball and the outer latex layer was very powdery feeling and it looked like it had begun to decay, almost. Stretching the outer latex layer slightly resulted in visible cracks in the latex. I have a feeling my stress ball sat around for a very long time before being shipped to me. The outer layer broke within 1.5 weeks of normal use at work, and the inner layer broke a half a week after that.

3.0 out of 5 stars hurts my finger joints, February 1, 2011

Don't know how durable it is. It feels good to squeeze and I think it does relieve stress. I've had it about a month, but rarely use it now. I have some arthritis in my finger joints (not the rheumatoid type), and every time I give the isoflex a workout, I get up with very sore finger joints the next morning. I've done it enough times to establish (for myself, at least) a cause and effect process.

I purchased this item (three of them) because I wanted to have something I could use, as I'm driving, to build grip strength. This product seems to work well.

I don't know why others have had such a bad experience with this... I've had mine for well over a year and it's finally getting a small hole in the skin. Figure I better order another before it fails completely.

I love this little ball. I've tried other hand exercisers - some are too mushy, some are too hard, but this one is JUST RIGHT!
