I purchased 7 of these discs for my classroom of severely emotionally disturbed students who also have ADHD. It is recommended that this type of student use one of these seats to decrease the amount of fidgetting and off task behavior! It truly helps the student concentrate and focus on their school work! I had purchased two exercise discs. One I could inflate, the other the nozzle didn't look the same and I was not able to inflate it. I sent a complaint via email and the Isokinetic person send me a return form and shared that a replacement would be sent as soon as the other was received. It was a simple process and I was pleased with the prompt response. However, the next one I recieved had the same issue. I'm almost convinced it's the same one I had returned. So, I'm not pleased that someone had not checked to ensure product quality, especially after my complaint. The other one is just fine. Therefore, only 1/3 works.

We bought one for my son (who has ADHD) and an extra. My son calls it his "wiggle seat" and enjoys sitting and standing on it. I use the other on my computer chair. Inexpensive and effective.

As a chiropractor looking for inexpensive, but very effective physical therapy exercises for my patients, I use various types of balance equipment in my practice. I bought a number of these stability discs from Isokinetics to sell to my patients. So far, so good. I was a little disappointed that the color was PINK, not RED (less chance of selling to male patients, unfortunately), but they work well in any color.
I sell them for WEIGHT LOSS--by sitting on one of these discs on your office chair, you have to sit up straight, which will work out your core abdominal and lower back muscles ALL DAY--instant muscle activity=instant(gradual) weight loss! Calories burned needs to be greater than calories in to lose weight. Why not work out while you're stuck at your desk?

I purchased these for my kids who need/like to move in their seats - they were more economical than other seats I found. There are two surfaces, one smoother than the other. They are not distracting in the classroom and serve the purpose very well. I ordered three, then ordered more for other teachers who wanted them as well.

These balance cushions seem easy to stand on but deliver quite a balance workout. Easy to inflate and seem to hold air well.

[...]. No more tailbone pain, no more low back pain. This thing really helps maintain a better work posture, improves butt blood circulation, and as an extra...stand on it every once in awhile for a terrific foot massage.

Also, shipping was very fast (in spite of Amazon's warning email warning that it might take awhile. I ordered on Monday and received it on Wednesday (in San Antonio, Texas)

This is a great item It has really helped my back. I am a short person and use this disk in my office chair for the computer. It gives me the support I need and now my back and neck dont hurt like it used to with out it thanks

Fairly thick, pliable plastic of some sort. I weigh 260 and am using these for stability exercises--so I'm standing on them (bought 2). Pumped up enough where I don't hit the ground. Have lasted this little while since I bought them just fine. They seem well constructed with tough enough plastic to do the job, though I doubt they can take much sharp things--haven't tested that hypothesis though.

You'll need a standard ball pump (not exercise ball pump) to inflate these. They do come with some air in them but it isn't enough.

Isn't much to say about a product like this. It's a plastic disc you fill with air and stand on. These do the job at a very reasonable price.

I'm a homeschooling mom of four, and I have a couple of boys, ages 8 and 10, who have a difficult time staying in their seats when they need to work, my 8yo in particular. I bought two of these disks, which we affectionately call "wiggle seats," hoping to give their bodies the movement they seem to be craving yet allow them to focus on their seatwork.

They work! They arrived already inflated, thank goodness, and I noticed a big difference in my boys right away. I'd say the discs cut the need for them to get up out of their seats on a continual basis by at least 50%. Also, no more leaning back in their chairs, which ruins my chairs and drives me nuts!

I have four children, and the other two who are kindergarteners, want their own discs as well, so it looks like I'll be ordering two more.

Great product! I'm very happy with it.

(And when I have a lot of computer work to do, I grab one and work on my core while I'm typing away! Bonus!)
